About me
I spent 25 years as a U.S. Army officer. I am from Texas, I live in Seattle, and I have recorded more than 500 episodes of this show.
Since March 2023, every episode has been recorded in person. Not over Zoom, not in split-screen squares. You come to the studio, we sit across from each other, and we talk like people talk. It costs me guests who would rather dial in, and it is worth it every time, because you cannot fake the thing that happens when two people are actually in a room.
The range is the point. Founders, veterans, tattoo artists, coffee roasters, comedians, and other interesting people. If you are building something or you have a story worth an hour, I want to hear it.
